Gee.......I take my hat off for the guys in Gauteng. These storms are really not something one will get used to easily. Well, not if one is from Cape Town.......
And every time there's a storm someone gets struck by lightening. I am sure the people who get struck are not from Joburg......no don't say that- they Capetonians! LOL!!!!
Do you remember the old wives tales: cover the mirrors...... don't stand in the door or in front of the window....My gosh, how glad I am delivered from these tales. Praise the Lord!
But delivered or not- I still jump when the lightening strikes and the thunder rolls.
So on that note....I am going to go straight to bed- warm and snug. NO NOT UNDER THE BED- in the bed!
